Mike McIntyre MBE
Mike trained as an Electronics Engineer gaining a First Class Honours degree from Glasgow University in 1977. He spent eight years as a design engineer with Racal before making the transition to Sales and Marketing with Orbitel Mobile Communications, where he launched the world''s first GSM mobile phone.
He has held a number of senior Sales and Marketing positions within the technology and telecommunications industries, specialising in start-up situations with Orbitel, Call Sciences and Dolphin Telecommunications.
In 2002 he started his own Performance Management consultancy, Xenogenix. The business has evolved and grown into a successful Salesforce CRM consultancy, having become a Partner in 2007.
Mike is also one of Great Britain''s most successful sailors. He competed in the Olympic Games twice, winning a Gold Medal in 1988 for which he was awarded the MBE. He was Chairman of the Olympic Steering Group for the RYA from 1993 to 2000.
